Project clean earth is going to bring a sustainable change in our communities. From the statistics we know every month people are throwing away almost 200 Billions of their used masks, ppe and gloves, what are basically plastic wastes. In our Bangladesh, you can find a used mask in every 10-20 feets of our streets and lakes. These plastic waste is causing threats on Lives below water and land as well! Besides, these masks and gloves are spreading virus too. Covid-19 virus can stay active on these materials up to 72 hours! People are aware of virus but they are not realizing that, it is creating a new threat for the world. Its Plastic Pandemic! Besides, in our Cities , the absence of Trees and oxygen is also a big concern for all of us. Therefore, We have decided to bring the change we want to see. We are going to transform mask and other plastics into tree pots. Thus we will create job opportunity for needy people and remove plastic pandemic from the world.

Community assessment: How the project team learned about the community’s needs

Due to Covid situation, people are using and wasting billions of plastic materials what are actually destroying our nature and environment directly. Life below water and Life on Land are on a threat of Plastic Pandemic. Besides, the Global warming and absence of green in our cities are also a big matter of concern. So our communities need this project very badly. Besides, it will create job opportunity for the needy people, what will change their life for sure. People will be aware about plastic pandemic, will be safe from spreading virus and will be able to focus on many Sustainable Development Goals.

Project impact: How the project will help the community after the project ends

People will get benefits of this project just after starting it. People will stop throwing away their used mask and plastic after the awareness created by this project, we will directly collect their wastage from them and recycle it into green pots. People will be encouraged to plant more and more trees in our cities. More importantly we will create job opportunity for the needy communities, what will help them to develop a better lifestyle. They will be able to remove poverty, get opportunity to send their children to school and we will start vocational training for them too along with adult literacy. This will be a life changing project for all.

Sustainability: How the benefits of the project will continue afterward

Even after the project, people of those communities will be able to continue their work and more job opportunities will be created every year. They will not need our support after completing the event. Community will learn about better lifestyle, better health issues and literacy too.
