Rotary Days of Service, cleaning activities on the beaches, rivers, and lakes all over the world.

Detailed description

The global environment is changing critically. Catastrophic disaster began to emerge as a result, and it is intensifying every year. Also, the food chain caused by marine pollution is putting the ecosystem in crisis. It is said that one of these causes is improper disposal of household waste. September 12, the Rotary TEAM JAPAN will hold “Rotary Day of Service”, which will carry out cleaning activities with citizens on the beaches, rivers, and lakes in each district. Overseas districts and many clubs that agreed to this project have expressed their participation in this project. Larger goals are to encourage each citizen to be interested in environmental issues through this project as well as make good changes in their daily lives. This is an action that we Rotarians can take to ensure that all people on Earth live in a better environment and pass on the beautiful earth to future generations. At the same time “Global Photo Contest” is being held. You, anyone in any country, can apply.
