Rotary Family Health Days is an innovative international campaign providing free health-care services to under privileged families, aiming to reach 350,000 people in Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho. On 5.11.2016 a group of 11 rotaractors from the Rotaract club of Bweyogerere Namboole 6 males and 5 females joined their mother club to actualize this initiative at Bufujja Village located 14 Km off Mbale - Butaleja road in Eastern Uganda through the power of Rotarians collaborative efforts. We were also joined by the rotaract clubs of Mbale School of clinical officers, IUIU, Busitema University and Faculty of Nursing IUIU. While at the medical camp, a total of 793 patients received free medical treatment from this rather under developed community, in addition 27 people donated Blood and diseases of such cases including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and reproductive health, as well as conditions such as diabetes and hypertension were handled
