Completed

Detailed description

For each of the last 30 years, the Rotary Club of Austin has engaged a total of over 3,000 High School Juniors in a 3-day business camp called Camp Enterprise. Students learn how to come up with an idea for a business and work in Teams to create that business, organize a business plan, finance it, market it and operate it. The Teams compete against each other in front of successful business owners for scholarship prizes. Over 30 Rotarians teach 100 students at this exciting and intensive Camp each year. Students leave the Camp inspired and enabled to create their own businesses to contribute to the economic vitality of the local community and seeded to become Rotarians in the future.
