Detailed description

Soil transmitted helminth infection is a neglected tropical disease prevalent in many developing nations like Nigeria. It has a huge burden on the development of the child affecting his /her cognitive functions. A single 400mg tablet of Albendazole recommended by WHO was used in deworming the children. The tolerability and enthusiasm exhibited by the staff and students were awesome. Rotarians were very excited at the opportunity to impact positively on the lives of children and the community in general.
