Detailed description

After Daw Aung San Su Kyi as Keynote speaker at Jan. 2013 Rotary Hawaii Peace Forum, PP Aircon of Rotary Club of Taipei Twins with forum Organizer PDG Steve Yoshida visited Yangon in Apr.2014 , to explore the opportunity for the Rotary to extend hands to Myanmar in six area of focus, Myanmar has over 70% live without electricity, they are in dark, Aircon proposed to raise fund to donate solar power +LED lighting system to school children. This Project got TRF $20,000 Special Initiative Grant, D-3480 5,000DDF, and Rotarians & Clubs & Rotary Friends donation, total fund more $55,600 to buy lighting system for 2,000 students, the amazing of the system is the system design: the solar power generation + Storage & Charge station at school, the students hold lighting fixtures & movable battery at home,after full charge, it may light up family at night for 5 hours, every day they have to bring battery to school for charge, it will also enhance the school attendance.
